Leslie became a STOTT PILATES instructor in 1997 after dancing professionally for 15 years.  She has been an instructor trainer since 1998 and has been training and certifying instructors throughout the U.S. and foreign countries such as Turkey, Spain and Japan since 1998.

She danced with the Cleveland San Jose Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre and BODYVOX, following a number of impressive achievements as a young dancer.

As a student of The North Carolina School of the Arts, she was awarded the 1988 Peabody Scholarship Award for Excellence. Leslie was a Level One ARTS recipient (sponsored by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts) in 1989 and was a semi-finalist and one of five sponsored Americans to compete in the 1988 Prix de Lausanne International Dance Competition in Switzerland.

Leslie became a student of STOTT PILATES in 1996 after becoming injured. She credits pilates for prolonging her dance career by another four years. She uses her considerable expertise to help other dancers and athletes as well as regular fitness clients and aspiring instructors. Leslie also enjoys the management side of Pacific NW Pilates, where she concentrates on operations and marketing. She is currently pursuing a business degree.
